Mahama’s administration has a massive goodwill – George Ayisi

George Ayisi a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications team has stated the current President John Dramani Mahama’s government has a lot of goodwill. This comes on the back of the Chief Staff at the Presidency, Julius Debrah revoked all recruitments done after the December 7, 2024 elections.
“Consistent with Government pronouncement in relation to the near end of tenure appointments and recruitments, I wish to bring to your attention that all appointments and recruitments made in the Public Services of Ghana after 7th December, 2024 are not in compliance with established good governance practices and principles,” the Chief of Staff stated.
Speaking on GHOne TV with Lily Mohammed, the NPP Communication team member advised the President to take advantage of the current goodwill his administration is enjoying.
Employment or recruitment is not an effect, it is a process. Before you recruit there is a technical clearance or financial clearance before the recruitment process kicks in. And all these have gone through from 2024 till the time the recruitments were done.
“There are other angles, I know there have been security services since January and some of us were chasing and could not even get one. It’s unfortunate, you know as politicians people will come to you. So we followed, when is it starting have they started?” Mr. Ayisi stated.
He continued: “There is the argument that some people were recruited before 2016 in training and they were stopped, and I think my people denied it. Mahama administration right now has a massive goodwill. It shouldn’t eat it away. Some of these things begin to take it out.”
The NPP Communication Team member stated that the Mahama administration must manage and protect the goodwill since the NPP is coming with a heat on his government.
