Magoo files to join NDC Women Organiser race

A deputy spokesperson for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) election 2020 campaign, Margaret Ansei, popularly known as Magoo, on Wednesday submitted her forms at the NDC headquarters to officially join the race to contest as a National Women Organizer of the umbrella family.

According to the former Chief Executive Officer for Suhum, the time has come for effective mobilization of women for victory in the 2024 elections. In a Facebook post after filing with her supporters, Magoo said, “The time has come to prove that the NDC IS READY, and that all its organs are capable of delivering effective results for victory.”

“This is only possible with courageous, genuine, committed and an open-minded leadership that is available to all NDC women regardless of their background,” she added. The host of ‘Women on the Frontline ‘ on TV XYZ said she had availed herself to serve her party with all sincerity.

“As I present myself to serve our women as the National Women Organizer, I do so with humility, seriousness and conviction. I believe firmly that together, we can rescue Ghana with a better and more action-oriented approach to how NDC Women are involved in the Party’s affairs,’’ she affirmed. The vibrant NDC communicator  further reiterated her resolve for perfection and diligence, stressing that, “If it must be done, it must be done well.”

The NDC has set December 17, 2022 for its National Delegate conference and Magoo is confident she will be giving the nod to lead the NDC women across the globe. The race is expected to be exciting as she seeks to unseat a former MP for Tano South, Dr Hannah Bisiw who is currently the incumbent Women Organiser of the party and seeking to be re-elected for a second term.
