USA Zongo Caucus Coordinator Hails John Mahama and NDC for Revolutionary Zongo Community Manifesto
Alhaji Abdul Salaam Zebah, Coordinator of the USA Zongo Caucus, has warmly praised former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their groundbreaking manifesto, tailored to transform the lives of Zongo community members.
The NDC’s 2024 manifesto outlines bold solutions to address the significant developmental challenges faced by the Zongo communities, including limited access to capital, infrastructure, and economic opportunities. The manifesto promises to establish the Soyaaya Fund, a pioneering initiative designed to empower Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Zongo communities by providing vital working capital, bridging the funding gap, and stimulating local economies.
Alhaji Salaam hailed the Soyaaya Fund as a game-changer for Zongo entrepreneurs, saying it will unlock the vast potential of our communities and drive innovation, prosperity, and social equity. He also commended the NDC’s commitment to social justice, noting that the fund will help bridge the developmental gap and drive Ghana’s growth and prosperity.
Furthermore, Alhaji Zebah expressed gratitude for the NDC’s promise to reduce Hajj fares, enabling more Muslim pilgrims to fulfill this essential pillar of faith. He also welcomed the additional day off for Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, allowing Muslims to rejoice and celebrate with their loved ones.
As the December 7th elections draw near, Alhaji Salaam made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians to embrace peace, unity, and harmony, the essential pillars of a prosperous nation.
With unwavering faith, he prayed that the NDC’s transformative promises will be fulfilled, In-Sha-Allah, and that Allah will graciously grant former President Mahama the wisdom, courage, and strength to lead Ghana towards a brighter future, where the hopes and aspirations of Zongo community members are realized, and their lives are forever changed for the better.
