THE desire of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to boot out the inept and corruptly incompetent New Patriotic Party (NPP) government in the forthcoming 2024 general election was manifestly exhibited at a fundraising ceremony during the weekend at the premises of Asesewa Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Upper Manya Krobo Constituency of the Eastern Region.
The Constituency Executive Members decided on the fundraiser to support the indefatigable Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Honourable Bismark Tetteh Nyarko to execute the electioneering campaign. The enthusiasm of the crowd of NDC past functionaries and supporters was so overwhelming.

On his part, Hon Bismark Tetteh Nyarko was so gratified by the show of support from the enthusiastic party faithful. The MP took a swipe at those whose only job is to insult him on Trust FM.

“I am discerning and educated. I can’t be following a candidate who once resigned as a Deputy Regional Minister. We don’t want only an MP but Hon Bismark Tetteh Nyarko can be an MP and a Minister to accelerate the development of Upper Manya Krobo.” This was an SMS message accompanying a donation by a defector to the NDC. More defections from the disgruntled NPP young educated and enlightened class are expected.
