Protecting the Ballot Will Be NDC’s Weapon – National Youth Organizer
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Youth Organizer, Lawyer George Opare Addo, also known as Pablo, has declared a revolution ahead of the 2024 general election. However, he emphasized that the NDC will employ strategies, not violence, to achieve its goals.
Speaking at the NDC Youth Manifesto launch, Lawyer Opare Addo expressed confidence in the Ghanaian youth’s commitment to oust the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP). He stated, “This election will be a revolution without guns. Our focus will be on protecting the ballot, and we will vote massively while ensuring the integrity of our ballots. As I always say, the NDC is a law-abiding party, and we will take power through legal means.”
Lawyer Opare Addo is confident that the NDC will win the 2024 presidential race and promised a reset of the destiny of Ghana’s youth, as envisioned by John Mahama. He lamented that Ghana has deviated from its once-bright democratic path and urged the youth to take stock.
“Young people are losing faith in our democracy because our future has been stolen from us. We must hold the ruling government accountable for their actions,” he said.
The National NDC Youth Organizer believes that the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, is the right person to reset Ghana and save the youth.
