NDC Supports Community Development: Joins Gomoa Ekwamkrom for Akwambo and Dadzeban Festival
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) made a grand appearance at the Akwambo and Dadzeban Festival 2024 in Gomoa Ekwamkrom, Gomoa Central Constituency, to support the local chiefs and community in their annual celebration.
Representing the NDC’s presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, was his campaign manager and National Vice Chairman, Professor Joshua Alabi, accompanied by the Central Regional Chairman, Professor Richard Asiedu, and other regional and constituency leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Professor Alabi shared the NDC’s vision with the community, emphasizing the importance of trustworthy leadership.
He highlighted the party’s commitment to supporting local development projects, such as the construction of a market in Ekwamkrom, to which the NDC delegation contributed 20,000 cedis. Professor Alabi also outlined the NDC’s plan to establish a 24-hour economic system, which will commence after January 7th, 2025.
The NDC delegation’s presence was met with enthusiasm and applause from the crowd, who welcomed their message and support. The festival celebration showcased the rich cultural heritage of the community, and the NDC’s participation demonstrated their engagement with local constituents and commitment to community development.
