I’II serve with humility, integrity – Ato Forson

Newly approved Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has expressed his profound gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for appointing him to the role. He also thanked God for the opportunity to serve the nation.
In a heartfelt Facebook post shared after his nomination was approved by Parliament on January 21, Dr. Forson pledged to serve with humility, integrity, diligence, and transparency.
“I am deeply humbled and grateful to the Almighty God for this opportunity to serve Ghana in the capacity of Finance Minister. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to H.E. President John Dramani Mahama for entrusting me with this enormous responsibility, to Parliament for their confidence and support, and to the people of Ghana for their trust,” he wrote.
He reiterated his commitment to addressing Ghana’s economic challenges and creating opportunities for all citizens.
“As I assume this high office, I assure all Ghanaians that I am committed to serving with humility, integrity, diligence, and transparency,” he added.
Dr. Forson emphasized that Ghana is open for business and encouraged investments that will drive sustainable development and national prosperity.
“Together, we will work to bring down inflation, stabilise the Cedi, create jobs, foster inclusive growth, and create opportunities for all Ghanaians. Let me emphasise that Ghana is open for business. We welcome partnerships and investments that will drive sustainable development and prosperity for all,” he stated.
He concluded with a message of unity and hope, urging collective effort to achieve greater success for the nation.
“With unity, resilience, and hard work, I believe we can achieve great things for our beloved country. Thank you, and may God continue to bless our homeland Ghana and make our nation great and strong.”
Dr. Ato Forson’s appointment has been met with optimism, as Ghanaians look forward to policies that will address the nation’s economic challenges and promote growth.
