Today, the 6th of March,2025, was a very busy day for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon.Felix Akwetey Nii Okle.

The hale and hearty MP first point of call was at the Ngleshie Amanfro Community Town Park to celebrate Ghana’s 68th Independence Anniversary on the theme, “Reflect, Review and Reset.

The above-mentioned theme signifies a call to action for citizens to evaluate the Nation’s progress, acknowledge our challenges and set new goals for the future.

The historic events saw students from selected schools including cardet groups exhibiting their marching skills, excellent cultural display by talented students to the delight of the audience present at the Parade grounds.

In his speech, Hon.Felix Akwetey Nii Okle acknowledged and appreciated the hardwork and dedication of our teachers who have been imparting knowledge to students in our community as well as farmers, fishermen, business men and women,Security services and every individual who in one way or the other had contributed to the development of BNAC.

The first gentleman in the Constituency also reiterated his commitment to the above mentioned groups adding that his doors are opened to engage with them including all members residing in the district to work together for a better and prosperous BNAC.

He promised never to disappoint them in that regard.

The charismatic MP further added that he is going to laise with appropriate agencies from the Public and Private sector to create more employment opportunity for the youths adding that he isn’t going to relent on that very important pledge or promise he has made.

Provision of outboard motors and consistent supply of Premix fuel to fishermen at the coastal area,working together with the District Assembly to complete abandoned projects were all not left out in his speech.

In addition to the above, Hon.Felix Akwetey assured the gathering present including the revered Kwashie Gborlor IV,respected dignitaries including Party leaders of improving key infrastructure such as rehabilitation of the inner roads,poor lighting to help the security fight crimes as well as access to portable drinking water and completing abandoned projects while building new schools where necessary.

Hon.Felix Akwetey also highlighted on the need to promote peace by putting our differences aside, working together and uniting for the common goal of development and improvement in the lives of all residents.

From the parade grounds, the respected and affable MP with his Constituency Chairman, Bright Atsu Modzaka, his abled vice Nene Agbo Shaibu, Hajia Fadila, Hon. Nana Kwesi Asante, Hon.Mawuli among others moved from the Parade grounds to join other Party Executives like Hon.Abayateye, Hon.Saka, Hon.Dawud,
Hon.John Boye,Hon. Emmanuel Aryeetey including Ward Coordinators to begin the “Thank You Tour”scheduled for today at Oshiey Palace,Aplaku Palace and Bortianor So lo We.
