We, the concerned members of the Korle Klottey Municipality, write this passionate appeal to the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to strongly consider the appointment of our dedicated son, Muhammed Bashiru Nii Narh Alema Dowuona, as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Korle Klottey.
As members of this constituency, we have witnessed firsthand the tireless efforts, commitment, and sacrifices that Bashiru has made over the years for both the party and the community. - Serving as a government appointee of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) from 2012 to 2016 under the tenure of Hon. Nii Armah Ashitey.
- Being elected as the Chairman of the Korle Klottey Constituency in November 2014, where he played a pivotal role in unifying party members and strengthening the NDC’s base.
- Training polling agents in 1992 and serving as a Trainer of Trainers for the NDC polling agents in Korle Klottey.
- Personally financing key party activities, including campaign logistics, constituency operations, and mobilization efforts.
- Securing and furnishing a secretariat for the party within the constituency, ensuring effective party administration.
- Playing a leading role in the NDC’s campaign strategy in the 2020 elections, contributing significantly to the party’s resounding victory with over 8,000 votes.

Bashiru is a man of intellect and competence, possessing the academic qualifications and professional experience necessary to lead Korle Klottey towards sustainable development. His educational background includes:
- A postgraduate diploma in Entrepreneurship from the University of Cape Coast.
- An HND in Management and Secretaryship from Accra Polytechnic.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wisconsin University.
- A Master’s degree in Logistics Management from Coventry University in the UK.
His vast knowledge and experience in governance, business, and administration make him well-equipped to manage the affairs of Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly effectively.

Over the years, Bashiru has shown exemplary leadership by fostering unity within the constituency.
