We, the committed grassroots and concerned members of the *Great National Democratic Congress (NDC), wish to extend our heartfelt and profound gratitude to *H.E. the President of the Republic of Ghana and to our beloved mother for life, *Madam Valarie Sawyer, for the wonderful appointment given to our honorable son, *Hon. Bashiru Nii Narh Alema Dowuona.
Though he did not attain the position of *Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), we remain steadfast in faith and hopeful in spirit, because his appointment as a *Board Member of the Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) is a clear mark of trust, recognition, and confidence in his dedication to service, loyalty, and development.
As grassroots members and custodians of the voice of the people, we proudly affirm that Hon. Bashiru has:
- Demonstrated unwavering loyalty and decades of service to the NDC.
- Maintained a deep-rooted connection as a royal son of Osu-Kinkanwe and a descendant of the Dowuona Ruling Clan.
- Shown a proven track record of leadership as former Constituency Chairman, government appointee to the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, and 2020 Campaign Manager.
- Remained committed to grassroots mobilization, community development, and party unity.
- Proven himself academically and administratively capable to serve with vision, humility, and competence.
