The national chairman of the National Zongo Caucus of the National Democratic Congress Alhaji Cool Young was recognized by the Adentan High Council of Zongo Chiefs for his immense contribution in the zongo’s and toward Zongo development.
The event was witnessed by a high-powered delegation from political fraternities, Islamic clerics, and traditional Muslim leaders. The event was graced by His Eminence Sheihk Dr. Nuhu Sharubutu, the National Chief Iman. The National Chief Imam, His Eminence Sheihk Dr. Nuhu Sharubutu crowned Dr. Tamim Abdul Wahab as the new Chief Iman of Ashaley Botwey.
The National Chief Imam also called on Muslims to act live exemplary lives well emulating. He called for peace ahead, during, and after the elections. He also prayed for the stability and progress of Ghana. During the event, the Member of Parliament of Adentan, Hon. Adamu Muhammed Ramadan called on the Zongo’s and the youths of his constituency to support the vision of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to save and rebuild Ghana.
He also pledged his support to the zongo’s, and his constituents. The Municipal Chief Executive also present gave a brief presentation. The Powerful Youth, Great Ashaley Botwe also gave their powerful presentation. However, all the speakers, including the NPP PC, Hon. Akosua Manu joined in awarding a citation to Alhaj Cool Young. The National Zongo Caucus is highly motivated and inspired by the great reception they received from the Zongo population from all of Adenta and Ashaley Botwe.
The Zongo’s will prosper, Ghana shall prosper.
