Woman Rejects GHc2000 from Samira to Remain True to Alan
A devoted supporter of Alan Kyerematen in the Central region made headlines today by refusing to remove her Alan-themed paraphernalia, despite being offered GHc2,000 by the campaign team of Samira Bawumia, wife of the NPP flagbearer.
The supporter, who claims to have backed Alan since 2007, accepted the money but declined to replace her Alan gear with NPP materials, citing her unwavering commitment to the “Movement for Change” leader.
When pressed by Samira’s campaign team, the supporter offered to shout slogans for Samira but drew the line at removing Alan’s image, sparking a brief confrontation.
The incident has left the supporter GHc2,000 richer and still proudly campaigning for Alan, whom she believes holds the key to a brighter future for traders through promises of a traders’ bank and reduced taxes.
